I bought a set and it didnt come with instructions, and I am having a hard time finding a guide online, can anyone help me out?

 

Did you search on this forum? Under the advanced search, type in "fog light install", there are tons of DIYs.

soo many diy on these, took me ages tho for a diy for the preface ones, by the time I found it I got the ***** and had an auto electrician and a $100 do it for me

Ok guys I got the lights installed onto the bumper and now im having issues with the wiring under the steering column, the DIY is very confusing to me, can anyone help me out on this part?

Hey question. Im putting the fogs on my 96 EK and the kit I bought it for a 99-00 I did a front end conversion, is the wiring different for the 96-98 and the 99-00? Im talking about the part under than steering column.

 

what part are you confused with? the "honda diy" manuel is pretty straight forward, step by step, but yeh.. what do you need help with?

 

Just connecting the parts under the steering column, I cant figure out where to plug them! There are three cables and a fuse box and a relay switch and the on off switch all on one cable.

 

My civic is a 96 with a 99-00 front end conversion, im worried the kit I got wont connect because my car is a 96 and the wiring might be different for the 99-00 which is what it shows in that guide.

That looks exactly like my harness, minus the other relay and orange cable.

 

hhmmm... im not sure what the wiring in the 96-98 civics look like in comparison to the 99-00.
i think youre gonna hafta look for a 96-98 pics install thread.. im sure the orange cables are important in your 96.

 

There is about a million places I can connect these wires, and I dont know which one to plug them into.

There are two two pin wires

and one, one pin

So a total of three wires I need to connect, plus the ground.

 

Ok I got the one pin connected, there was a connection taped behind the fuse box with blue tape, i also got the ground connected. All thats left is the two two pin connections, where do these go?
