Confused on wat clutch to run!
i have a stroker b series set up 2.1L itr 92mm crank
250w/170t.
i have a toda flywheel and competition 4 puck disk wit dual diaphram pressure plate.
i was told by a tuner to run a twin disk.
1. is the twin disk too much?
2. is competition twin disk too much for my set up?
3. What is the best one to go with. USED FOR DRAG!

If you are only revving to 8,500, a stock ITR clutch will be fine. 8,500+, you will need a disc and pressure plate that can withstand the RPM. Clutch masters,ACT, etc.-"Stage 2".
on our all motor car we are running a custom 6.25" twin disc with only three release levers on the pressure plate...which are adjustable. not sure if you plan to clutch the car or not. the only time we use the clutch on a run is when launching. like mentioned above, you want the least pressure possible but enough pressure to not slip the clutch. we are using a gforce tranny as well. we datalog engine rpm vs driveline rpm and use this data to adjust the pressure plate.

Ive stayed with an ACT "extreme" pressure plate with the full face "street" disc and never had a problem. I will be using the same clutch setup on my stroker build too when its finished.Mines a daily driver so I didnt want anything too aggressive. I like the engagement feel and it grabs quite nice at ~150 ft/lbs. Id expect it to be similar at ~170ft/lbs...
i was told to run a hyper stage 3 from exedy. im wondering if its worth it.. i had a comp twin disk but i sold it. i have a competition clutch right now and it is way to hard to push down its a dual diaphram with a 4 puck sprung disc matched with toda flywheel. i would like to run a clutch set up that i can simply put in and launch the car on slicks all day. my tuner and other builders all reccomend a twin disc.

Well if not going to take our advice.....then why did you ask in the first place??? I would say get something/this....but you just want someone in here to recommend a twin-disc to back up your belief.
All im saying is that you dont need a $1000+ twin disk setup for an all motor build.
no i jus want to kno if anyone using em. on a b series. i jus kno its popular wit the K's and i was askin mostly about the hyper stage3 from exedy. i asked for input on it. i have taken ur advice on the act clutch into consideration i would like to save some money of course. but the car is not a daily driven so i would like to use the best possible option with out goin over board.
