What's the next best lube to ARP's fastener lube
ARP lube is moly based, so I personally would stick with that. It provides much more accurace vs. 30wt, but ARP provides specs for 30wt as well, so why not use that?
I would think that any moly lube you buy at the auto parts store is basically the same as the moly ARP sends you.
How different can it really be ?
We use a moly lube at work for nut's we torque to 600ftlbs.

After all these ? about lube , I hope you have a torque wrench capable of getting the job done right. Cuase none of this matters when your using junk tools. You could over or under torque by 20lbs with a junk craftsman manuel wrench.
