bought a set of 99-00 civic depo fog lights, just cant figure out how to install or plug it up. My car is 97 civic. not sure if the harness is different?

First picture shows

2 of the white Male plugs, plugs right into the fog lights.
Blue is most likely the ground, and the Yellow with brown plug is a FEMALE




2nd Picture Shows

Green Plug connects to the Fog Light Switch
MALE Brown plug with red wire has a Fuse Box
Blue wire with Brown plug is a FEMALE
MALE brown plug with black wire
Red wire with ARM
Relay




FUSE BOX PANEL HAS 4 OPTIONAL PLUGS
5 2 3 SPACE 1

Is this the right way of installing it?

female brown plug with yellow wire, connects to the male brown plug with black wire?
red male plug with fuse box connects to WHICH? number of the "optional plugs"? 5? 2? 3? or 1?
and the brown female plug with blue wire connects "TO THE FACTORY FOG LIGHT MALE PLUG BEHIND THE FUSE BOX? is this right?
and the blue wire and red with arms connects to grounds

just wondering if anyone can help me wire this up. thanks!

 

99-00 fogs don't fit a 97..they have different front bumpers

 

i know, i just wondering about the harness.

can someone post a picture of where the factory oem fog light harness under the dash? i cant seem to find it, the car is 96-98, not sure if that harness is in the same location as 99-00

looks like your missing the wire that connects the under dash harness to the harness sub harness attatched to your fog lights

are you talking about the plug that connects to the factory harness on the car? i think thats the blue wire with the brown plug

it should be 1 long power wire that goes from the switch to the single plug on the fog light harness

correct, blue wire brown plug..
its a sneaky little bastard and sometimes you may have to un bolt your fuse box to find it.
i highly doubt your missing it.

 

that wire is behind the fuse block, I just look for it today myself, installing fog light too. Get in a good position(your back on floor mat), and look behind the fuse block, look for a blue tape/brown plug like the link i send.

 

oh ok, ill go take a peek tomorrow, and hopefully i find that "bastard" lol

 

but am i hooking it up correctly?
