Default Help with valve lash

I am putting my car back together from building my head. I have a B18b1 with a port and polished head, ferrea valve seals, guides, keepers, Crower Valves, TI retainers, dual springs, and got Crower 404's. I am doing the last cylinder for a valve lash and doing the last intake valve. I called BC for what feeler gauges i use they told me for intake-.006 exhaust-.008. I went to go slid the feeler gauge thru didn't go thru so i loosened the nut all the way and the .006 still doesn't fit??? Only feeler gauge that fits is the .0025. Can someone tell me whats the problem. All the other ones were just fine working with.

what u mean moving the cams. I am doing each cylinder right and right with the tdc. Cylinder #2 is when cams are pointing towards the right.

the camshaft need to be rotated so that the springs are both closed you need to rotate the cam after the a cylinder is adjusted to put the next valves where they are opened

Just reading and going literal.
Loosen the nut and then back the screw out.
Assuming you are doing that, just clarification.

Dont know what u mean but dont know if this will change anything i got adj, cam gears? Do you think they where put on the wrong way if there is a wrong way? And can u explain more about rotating the camshaft. I adjusted the timing so that 0 degrees is top dead center on the ex. side but its a little off on the intake side because of the advanced dizzy

Adjustable cam gears wont do anything to your valve lash.

Follow all the steps close.

yesterday i swapped rocker arms and it worked. Only thing is that it still doesn't fit the .006 now it can fit the .005 so i think that is good enough.

Have you done Valve lash adjustments on hondas? Not trying to come across rough but you could F stuff up. Just be carefull. Follow those instructions I posted for you. If you cant bend a wrench or dont have an adjustable head wrench for the adjustment or you dont have this

I recommend taking her in.
