first time i installed a b-series in my hatch i did it entirely on my own, which includes pulling the a6 and dropping in the b18. i completed that in about a day. i was on a deadline and didn't want to pay for 2 days of usage on the engine hoist. assuming you dont run into any trouble and nothing stupid comes up it shouldn't take you all that long to do. just depends on how prepared you are and what level of mechanical prowess you possess lol.
how long will it take it all depends on the person... like my brothers first time it took him a day to unhook everything and pull the engine... than another day to drop it back in and bolt it all abck together and doo all that good stuff.... but he also already had a b series in there so yea... and his full day was from like 1 pm to like 9 when it started getten dark
