depends on what distributor is on it, is it an obd2 gsr head? obd1? you would need a P72 ecu and it would still need to be wired for vtec. do some more research and come back with answers

Okay, your car is obd0. so ima go down that route..
use your OBD0 wiring harness, get a Obd0 Vtec distributor or..chop off a distributor leg from your obd0 ls.
reusing your obd0 injectors. and alternator
Get a OBD0 PR3 B16 Ecu (80-100$)
Get a Vtec Sub harness from www.rywire.com ($60)
U have to use your B18A1 motor mounts. (they bolt right on)

if your gonna use your LS CABLE tranny. itll just bolt right up (mounts and clutch cable)..

but if your gonna use a HYDRO tranny, than u gotta order a "Cable to hydro conversion kit" from www.hasport.com ($300)

Your old header will bolt up to your new motor, so u can use your O2 sensor with out any extension. But if you were to go after market like 4-1 header..the down pipe wont bolt up to your stock cat (gonna have to get a test pipe) and itll probaly run into your cross member.

and if your running a stock gsr Intake manifold than, that 2nd butterfly is gonna be a bitch plus your Intake wont fit right.

i think thats about it. just PM me if you have any questions.

But you asked what obd the dizzy was? And get a p72? Never mentioned a jumper? Don't throw out BS! Help the kid out. We didn't come to this site as superstars, remember? Doesn't matter what obd the dizzy is or what year the head is. He just needs obd0 components on the head. Same harness, 0bd0 vtec dizzy(or cut off a leg to get you rolling-not gonna hurt)same injectors, take out them butterflys. The year of the block will determine if you can use all the plugs from the harness. Hooking up vtec with depend on what year ecu, if you use a jumper or not.
