spoon mirrors

so i got a really good deal on some spoon mirrors for my type R
now what i want to know is how can i tell if the mirrors are real spoons
or fake??
any help is appreciated thanks

real ones have blue tinted glass and the inside by where the actual mirror is is still CF while the knock offs have no tinted glass but some do but the knock offs dont have CF inside behind the glass

no no, sorry for the confusion but they wouldn't say that on there.
what i meant was that your driver side mirror is the JDM passenger side mirror which is curved differently for the wideangle perspective...hope that makes sense.

However, Spoon and Visions 1st gen mirrors are all plastic with clear mirrors. These mirrors have rubber molding (which most of the time, fall off with age) and actual mechanics for the mirror swival. I can take some photos if the originator of the this post would like to see for clarification.

My nephew has some spoon "style" mirrors that he says they're real and once he said they weren't then he goes on saying they're real. One thing that got me to believe they were fake was the passenger mirror is F'd up, it's broken and angled down and he said he got it that way. If i bought new spoon mirrors and it was broken, you best believe I'm returning them.

Yeah, but in his car you'd have to sit in the car with NO seat to be able to see w/ that angle on the mirror. It's looking straight at the road and you can't move it.
If that's how the REAL ones are then they aint worth a dime

so i put them on my car just to see how they would look and to be honest they look kinda weird all small and stuff not sure if some othr spoon mirror owners feel the same but its how i look at it
dont get me wrong i love the mirrors just not really on my car
