i just bought a 2003 rsx type-s for real cheap with transmission problems. when i test drove it it didnt have 2nd or 3rd gear. 1st, 4th, 5th, and 6 gear were all good. but when i test drove it again it went into gears but it always felt like it was in neutral. does anybody know whats wrong or should i just get a new tranny?

 

You could prolly just get it rebuilt. Either way you will need to take out the transmission, so while it's out take it apart or if you don't have the know how just take it somewhere. It might be worth it to just get it rebuilt.

Damn $1400!?! Was there other problems with the car? Body damage, rebuilt title, etc... Sounds like a good deal to me haha. Just get the tranny rebuilt and flip the car, you could get a good come up on that.
