so i was over at pull apart i spotted what i thought for a second was a jdm ef9 bumper laying over in the ford section? after a closer look i realized it wasnt, but i new it was a hond/acura bumper cause of the stanley lights and just the way it looked. so after a walk around the yard i found its owner, an 89 integra. the lip and fogs looks like i could make them work on my 88 rex so i pulled them off, paid 5 bucks for the lip and 5 for the fogs. just finished getting them on my bumper. im happy with it. specially for what i paid. just thoguht i would share the outcome with yall:

i acctually wired the fogs into the low beams and forgot to plug the passenger side back in after i was done. haha, once i find a switch of some sort i am gonna wire the fogs seperately. for not im happy with the wayh it is though. the fogs are a smaller than the jdm ones, but for now i am sure they will fool some ppl! i found a 1990 for door integra lip while i was there too. but i like the 89 teg lip better so i used it.
Nice lip..i thought about getting an aftermarked lip like the jdmpassword ones, but wanted to be different from so many rexes out there...so i do like the one you got on yours. I wonder what other brand brand vehicle's lip can i put on the rex?

thats really the only way i could get them to work, the lense of the light kinda tapers out adn get bigger towards teh bottom (like a pyramid), so they are kinda hard to work with. it took m like 3 hours just to get them how they are now, made some alluminum brackets and mounded them right to the bottom of the bumpers. trying to get my hours on some yellow tinting film but that **** is expensive and i only need like 6 square inches of it. haha. so if anyone has any scraps of yellow tinting film laying around send it my way!

this one worked pretty good, it stuck out off the ends of the bumper though, like 3 or 4 inches on both sides so i had to trim it and it looks like **** where i trimmed it cause my rotozip was being an ***. ive seen ppl with jetta lips and DA teg lips, but never saw anyone with 1st gen teg lip so i figured i would try it. i got a DA lip i think imma put on the rear bumper

ya, i didnt know what i had really. now that i got it i been reading up and it seems that they are pretty hard to find. i didnt know that "1st gen da" were the 86-89 tegs, i thought they were the 90-91 tegs. didnt realize ppl refered to those old tegs as "da's". anyways, i have seen the lip on a few more efs online now. hopefully i will find a few more and sell em for a 600% profit! haha

ya i am quite the ghetto rigger my self honestly. usually i have to ghetto rig stuff for the sake of keeping it running since its my daily. once i finally get a new car (two more weeks) this will become my project car again so i can finally get to un-ghettorigging everything!
