I need help! My car recently>>>> light flickers and i don't know what is going on, I thought i might be my alternator and battery but not. RPM also flickers back and forth like when your alternator is going out and your car is using your battery and battery is going low. Now today it was flickering bad and I stopped and now it won't turn on. It will turn on after a while but it dies real quick, i was giving it gas but it was like the gas pedal didn't work and rpm didn't rev at ALL. Any help is appreciated. THX.

forgot to add when my car died headlight would not turn on and on the cluster the high beam and both signal lights are lit.

 

Battery light flickers I take it?

 

no, light just flickers wahen i let gas go. i think might be a short. but after 2nite my car just died and would not start. after a couple of trys it started and i try to give it gas but gas is no hope. got to try a new battery tomorrow and see what happens. i tried that trick where i take off the negative plug from battery and my car still runs (i know ppl say its not good but my alternator still runs but light still flicker and rpm flickers).

This happened to me but i was messing with my FPR. You should take the gas cap off and put it back on wait however long you have to and start it again and repeat the process. I had to do mine about 6 times before it stopped.

 

there is no cel. car will start if i push start it and sometimes when not push starting it will crank and sometimes not. my lights don't turn on when i turn head light on and the high beam and both signal are lit on cluster. i could hear main relay. car will not give into gave once started and just die. i could smell fuel though.

 

I'm def interested on hearing more because I'm having a very similar problem.
