Default civic acting funny

ok i have a b16a swap ef hatch and my starter went out and it sat for two weeks i started it up and it sounded funny and pushed the gas and it smelled funny plz help me

Yeah you need to explain what "sounded funny and "smelled funny" means...those are pretty vague descriptions.

i can see alot of exhaust and its not cold out.
CEL is giving me code 4 for the MAP sensor.
The Fan doesn't go on at all

MAP code will likely make it run very rich. I'd start by fixing your MAP problem.

code 4 is crank position sensor.

it blinks 2 long then 2 short.
so its a 4 right?
or do i count after the 1st?

ok, its code 22, vtec pressure switch sensor.i see no problems in the wires, but vtec doesn't pull so hard i think, not sure because haven't driven it in two weeks.
should i go to the junkyard and get one.if so can I use any vtec switch sensor?

Is the pressure switch hooked up? Without the pressure switch, VTEC will not engage at all.

as far as i can see the wires are perfectly fine.
i didn't move/touch it at all.
would a cluster swap have anything to do with it?
how often do the the sensors go out?

I'v never seen a pressure switch go out before but I am sure it is possible.

Have you pulled the hazard fuse for 10 secs to see if the code is just stored in the ECU?

located in your fuse box under the hood near the passenger shock tower. it's the 10 Amp fuse closest to the fender.

fan wont turn on
ecu is giving me a code 22

Had same problem dude what U probably did was connect the radiator temperature sensor thats locate near the thermostat where the v-tec solenoid goes flip them around disconnect the battery to reset the computer and see if its still giving U the code
