Need Help bad idle

Default Need Help bad idle

im having a bad idle @ 1400rpm. 94 si/ z6
i found a video (not my car but im have the same problem).
Any help is great thanks in advance.

Clean the FITV and bleed the cooling system.

Is the CEL on? Any codes?

codes iacv and iat. i thought they were switched. i check there not..
i took the motor out my freinds car had no problems before the swap.

i think its the 02 sensor. its plugged in but its on the down pipe and the exhaust is not hooked up could that be it?

If you reset the ECU, do both codes return when the engine is run?

What color wires are attached to the IACV versus IAT?

codes come back on after reset
iacv yellow/blk and green/white
iat red/yellow and green white

What happens to the idle problem if you unplug the IACV?

What happens to the idle problem if you remove the intake and use your finger to block the port in the throttle body leading to the FITV?

if i un plug the IACV it has the surging idle
for the FITV i will test that tomorrow its 12:35 and my neighbors dont like me already lol.
i also will bleed/flush the coolant.

If you think the sensors are fine, then you need next to troubleshoot the wires.
