Default 99 civic ex convert to obd1

I know this has been talked about time and time again but the threads I have seen give crap responses and are started by noobs.

Here is a run down of what I have and what I know I need:

I will be keeping my factory harness and running a conversion harness.

Obd1 GSR longblock.
Obd2 stock injectors.
Obd2 GSR distributor and alternator.

As far as electrical/sensor is that all that is required??

The only thing that gets me is the infamous Crank Position Sensor which is located near the crank pully on Obd2 cars.

What all is needed to be done to get this in properly. I have read the bypassing thread on FFS TechNet (Competition Clutch 0420) but want to make sure I have everything covered before I start the process. This is my first EK so I am new to Obd2

Yes.
Im almost 100% sure that all you need to convert an OBD2 Civic to OBD1 is conversion harness and ECU.

Well I know of that as well as the distributor and alternator (if you stick with stock obd2 harness) since the alternator plug is square for obd2 and round for obd1 and the distributor is one plug for obd2 and 2 plugs for obd1.

However I just did a little more research, I was under the impression that the CFK sensor was needed untill I realized only obd2 ecus look for it so I am in the clear.

I plan to update the thread as a install guide for others and hopefully make it a sticky.

ok got everything figured out except for the distributor plugs!

I read around and apparently the 99-00 civic ex distributor plug is different than that of a 96-98 and 99-00 si distributor plugs.

Although they appear to be the same 10pin plug websites are saying they are different?

Is there any truth behind this?

worse comes to worse you could just cut and splice the wires. they're pretty much the same colors.

Ok another question. Do I need the rear t-bracket from a 99-00 si or will any b series rear t-bracket work?
