Just curious if anyones AFTERMARKET clutch rattles and makes noises....

Mine does but not all the time... or at least I think it's the clutch(tranny) area.. it didnt do it before the clutch install, after was fine too... then just started making noise..

car drives fine... wierd deceleration problem on occasion...

not sure..

narrowing down the noise is number one..

 

MIne does the same. sounds like a whining noise when deceling. Sometimes it winds on accel but mostly slowing down. which clutch do you have? I have an ACT stage II and lightweight flywheel.

 

ACT 6 puck unsprung with extreme pp...

Its not consistent... it's more like a metalic whine/vibration... kind alike a dry clutch on a ducati if youve ever heard one... but it's only certain times, not all the time. I can drive and not hear it... hear it.. at idle hear it.. then it stops.. etc...

I torqued everything down when we did the install.. now it can be the clutch cover on the bottom is loose and rattleing... or it's the tranny.... not too worried about it.. but it causes me some concern until i know for sure..

this weekend i'm gonna poke and prod around and take it off if i have to...

 

lol, act HDSS with toda wheel, and yes, it whines when I let off the gas at high rpms, wtf is it?

I can only come up with a theory as to why it makes noises.. and none of them makes sense....

 

I have this squeaky noise when I take off in 1st, other than that I get no other noise....
