Default texas problem: Vehicle Tracking Options

so as you all may or should know, texas has a BIG problem with our cars getting stolen left and right. does any one know of a tracking device besides low jack that is small, easy to hide, and can use a seperate battery other than the cars battery power once engaged to track a car when its stolen??

very interested in knowing about this

dallas are pretty bad about that, i don't ever take my car near those area, i do have a lowjack on mine, i live in a small town, so the car stay close where ever i'm at. but that doesn't mean anything, just google search and see, cellphone have gps system on them, i have a friend actually keep one on services, and have the gps application on it, and it wire the charger in, so when battery unplug, it'll still stay on. so he can track it.
second also, relocate your start switch, along with fuel cut and starter cut.
it is pain in the axx to start your car, but hey more stuff slow it down. you wouldnt able stop a tow truck. also relocate your battery into your car, somewhere hard to see. then have a hood pin with locks, and also hood switch for alarm go off, use a very sensitive settings, if car drive by with exhaust it'll go off, is alright, at least it works, and also alarm thats page you.
also it help make your car look like a sleeper, make it ugly that ppl don't think u got some ***** under the hood. this is some suggestion, there may be more option out there.

i've heard of people hiding some cheap cell phones with the gps identifers on them. i guess the best spot for it would be to stash it somewhere deep in the dash with constant power wired to it, and even better with an alternative battery to power it

In short, cellphone GPS tracking is not recommended.
