Ok so here is the deal. I had a h23 tranny with an aftermarket lsd in it. The tranny is pretty much shot so I ordered one on ebay from what I thought was a reputable business. The auction was for a JDM H22a transmission. Now from what I have heard the h23 tranny has longer gears than the h22. From the specs I looked up online it seemed as if only a couple of the gears were different ratios.
So I received my transmission in the mail last week and got it in the car friday. This tranny cannot be a h22a transmission. Every gear seems super long. I am able to hit 75 mph in second at redline. My car seems so much slower. Does anyone know what kind of car this may have came out of.... possibly accord?
Any input i would appreciate.

What is the trans code? It's on a sticker on the trans, left from the engine code. Should be something like M2A4, M2B4, P2U5 or P2A5. If it's one of the last two you got screwed.
