Default DPFI To MPFI

i already did all the distro stuff, and i get spark, but i get no gas from the injectors

i've already got that they have no power, and im gunna recheck the wiring,

but that dpfi harness i used, had one less wire on the driver tower plug, then the harness that was in the car when we first pulled the motor.

but it looks like it came stock like that.

so is there different dpfi harness types or just ones with extra crap for other models?

ill take a pic and post it later just to help out.

All the DPFI are the same, DPFI have 5 wires and MPFI have 7 wires at the firewall plug, the extra 2 on the MPFI are for the Cylinder Position Sensor.

You have to use the DPFI engine harness.

Unless I totally read that wrong.

#1 - Please don't hijack threads with a completely different set of problems.
#2 - Don't use the Si harness. It's a conversion of the stock DPFI harness to support the MPFI system and NOT a replacement or mix and match of DPFI harness with MPFI.

Compare the 2 harnesses and make sure all the wires are in the same pin location and are the same color.
If the pic doesn't show it well, tell us what the color wire is that is missing and it's pin location as well as the color of the wire on the OTHER side of the connector when you plug it in (sometimes the wire colors are not the same on both sides of the connector.)

at the driver's side, the connector at the firewall for the 88 CRX Si is a rectangular 6-wire connector - all of the other MPFI harnesses have a round 8-wire connector - all of the DPFI harnesses have a round 14-wire connector - some of the DPFI harnesses have more or less actual wires in the connector, depending on whether the harness is from a a car with manual transmission or with automatic transmission or equipped with EGR valve (automatic in Calif only)

the DPFI cars originally equipped with automatic transmission had a wire at ECU pin B12 which was for the automatic Shift Lock Control Unit

i checked everthing out and itseems im only getting 8.3volts to the injectors and im using obd1 injectors
i dont have the resister box just wire straight to the two blk/yel dpfi wires in the engine harness

so do i have to use the obd0 injectors and resistor box which i can rewire quickly?

if the injectors are obd1 then you don't need the box, if you want to use obd0 injectors then keep it.

ok so, i checked and rechecked and even redid the dpfi engine harness again

and found it to be the injectors, they are putting out 8.4 volts when i crank the motor

i thought obd1 used 12volts, so what could be wrong here?

i put the c1 and c2 wires to b10 and b12, and ran the new c1 and c2 to the distro

and a3 and a7 to injector 2 and 4
