take off the timing belt covers. take off teh valve cover 10mm(if it isnt cut away at the cams like mine)
loosen the tensioner 14mm i think if not 12mm. slip the belt off the cam gears and tensioner and good luck at the bottom. hopefully you wont have to take off the crank pully. you shouldnt but some people are dum and do that. why are you putting a new belt on? broke it?...

no my girlfriend was i was in the passenger seat she was sober. i got out just pop to hood ...that really dosnt matter dont reply unless u can help me with my problem thx
your going to need to take the crank pully off to get the lower timing belt cover off. GL with that. I had to heat the bolt up beat red before it would budge with an impact gun. once the crank pulley is off remember to put the large washers back on the right was. they are concave shaped
Buy a helms or haynes manual and follow instructions

The toughest part of the job the first time is getting the crank pulley off. You really should get a honda crank pulley tool to keep the crank from moving when you're removing the crank pulley bolt. The other thing you NEED is a factory service manual from Helm inc especially if you've never done a timing belt before.
Basically:
1. Remove accessory belts
2. Remove valve cover
3. Set to TDC
4. Break Crank pulley bolt loose
5. Remove upper timing cover
6. Loosen tensioner
7. Remove crank pulley and lower timing cover
8. Support engine with block of wood and jack
9. Remove drvrs side mount
10. Slip off old belt
11. Slip on new belt
12. set tension and put it back together

cross your fingers and pray to the car gods. most likely you did though. but as far as the t-belt, i bought a bluepoint crank pulley tool, it works miracles. but if you cant get a hold of that then ghetto rig it. i know all of you are going to flame for this but it worked on my y8, fill the cylinders with water put the spark plugs back in, turn over the motor till it locks, then attach a breaker bar with jack handle and bust it loose. it worked for me just fine when i didn't have the crank tool.

if u dont replace the tensioner and waster pump while u have the thing apart is just stupid anyway.

besides, he probably has bent valves and its not gonna "lock" on him, its gonna go into the intake and exhaust
well i didnt have the harmonic balancer tool to take of the crank pulley cuz when u try to unbolt the bolt on it moves the crank....so we just ended up cutting all the plastic covering and slippin on the belt that way and ...timing everthing and slipped on the belt...when i put the valve cover back on i started it up it stresses a lot when i start it and when i rev it or drive it makes what is the wining noise...im doin a compresison test tommorow to see what valve is messed if one is...
