ABS Light?
my 93 honda accord needed its brakes changed(rotors, pads) and at the time the abs light turned on so I changed the brakes and the light is still on! what should I do? help would be appreciated! thanks!!!
i have a similar problem. we recently bought a 96 accord and on the drive home, the brakes werent that firm so you would have to push the pedal down about halfway in order to start to stop. My dad checked the brakes and saw that the pads were pretty much new so he bled the brakes and now we can't get pressure back to the brakes. if i wanna stop the car, i have to push the pedal down all theway. throughout all of this the ABS light has been on. we checked the brake fluid levels in the cylinder but is there a separate cylinder for ABS fluid?
thanks
thanks

I checked the reservoir and it was low. ima put more brake fluid tommorow. is their more steps to do after i put the fluid or do i just fill the reservoir and the light turns off?

Is there any way you could check the ABS error code? On my 94 accord, there is a blue 2-pin connector just underneath the glove box...jump the plug with a paper clip, then turn the key to ON. The light should come on for a few seconds, then turn off...then you'll get a series of blinking lights that tell you exactly what the problem is. You just have to count the number of blinks (each code is a set of two numbers...for example, it might blink 4 times, then pause 1 second, then blink 8 times....this would be error code 4-8, corresponding to the left rear wheel sensor).
It's a lot easier to just get the code, rather than trying to guess what might be wrong.
