ECU fried, took main relay with it...what else?
I attached a few shitty cell phone pics...short recap is that the ECU fritzed out when I tried to start the car the other night...Any ideas what might have caused this?
Symptoms included the tach needle jumping, the car filling with smoke, and the cooling fans staying on all the time. The main relay stopped clicking when the car was turned to 'on' and the fuel pump isn't coming on.
In the pic of the
"top" of the circuit board, the burn is right under the silver canlike object...capacitor maybe?
Also...if anyone who has access to a wiring diagram could tell me what else is on the circuit with the ECU and main relay...and what else might be damaged...that would be great.
