hey googled/searched quick but no luck , ( want to paint the hood prop its oxidized and looks shitty imo) do you have to remove that black grommet that sits behind the hood prop in order to remove it completely? cant get the freakin thing off by simply rotating/pulling on it oh by the way its on a del sol........

 

It just sort of slides into that grommet. It might take some finagling to get it out.

 

i believe you just lift it off the clip that holds it down and push it over towards the motor

 

just pulls out it's pretty easy. And you have to twist a little to the shape of the prop
