Just got my car from the body shop and the lip I had bought for the car fit like @ss so i didnt install it. What are my options for something in polyurethane. I just need to get my hood to shut and get a lip and I will have one sweet CRX.

 

there is a thread on here that has ALL the lip options. EG and EK lips fit, so do DA lips

 

Yeah I searched through that thread and everything seems to be discontinued.

 

what about oem lips i have one in my car and it looks sweet

I was really hoping to find something like a J's Racing lip. Had I known the rarety of 88 lips before hand I would have installed a 90-91 bumper cover.

 

j's racing lip should fit but i dunno

honda still sells 91 lips brand new as of last year, not sure about 88's though.

 

you can still get 89 si lips from honda too, plus all the needed hardware to install it correctly. just bought mine today!

 

i dont know if anybody makes lips for 88 but ive got a 90 91 j's racing, or chargespeed replica lip im not sure which one its supposed to be, i think j's. but its from weaksauce.com and its urethane.

 

i just got an 89 teg lip at the junkyard today for 4 bucks. still in the process of making it work though... it WILL work though. ill post a pic when i get done. got a '90 teg lip too but its not aggressive looking enough for me to **** with it.

This one might work on an '88, but I'm not sure. You can always put a '90-'91 bumper on.

i have a 91 sedan! and i paid around 100 bux for the lip and the hardware!

 

Thats really not an option anymore, I just got the car painted Granada Black Pearl. I'll just be patient and keep an eye on EBAY for a while.

 

that will replace my MK3 one!!
