rear crossmember mount .....
what do you guys do to install the rear crossmember mount? my ratchet is to big to get anywhere near the bolt it seems like if I used a tiny *** rathchet and a swivel I might be able to get to it , but I would really not like to drop the rear crossmember.
the 2 bolts are easy , its the rear bolt to the left.

hmmm I guess a trip to sears would be in order.... at least my bay is stripped So I can just "hop in " LOL.
I never have used a ratchet that tiny but with a small swivel and an extension it might be possible. I cant imagine that would get it tight enough though... hmm

I just drop a 3/8" 14mm socket on the bolt head. Then insert a 3" extension onto the socket and add a swivel extension to that. It's easier if the engine is out already.
I use a 3/8" drive "wobble" adapter 'cause the swivel/u joint one is too wide or thick to get in there. You might also be able to do it from the rear side with an open end wrench but you only get a fraction of a turn with each try. Good Luck....
