Found the swap I whated.
Now I found an B16A1 engine and it has an Automatic Transmission, and ECU. Now for me to install this into my car Do I need an new shift linkages cable or can I use my stock one? and if I do need an new one were can I get it?
Yeah my car is an auto now. I would like to make it an manual but it's ALOUT of work and I don't have all the tools. I bean reading up on how to do it so that's why i'm trying to see if I can this kinp it an automatic.
if you dont have the tools to swap to manual, how do you expect to swap in a b16/auto??? the auto to manual is easy and you will thank yourself later.
heh, i was wondering the same thing.
you should definitly do a manual conversion due to the fact that it sounds like you may not have a ton of experience with motor swaps, it will make your motor come alive, and its just easier to maintain and install. m/t are alot smaller than an auto as well.
let us know what kind of car you have and what kind of work has been done to it before.. obd0-obd1?.. dpfi-mpfi? you should look into this alot before tackling a b series. its definitly not a beginner swap. but good luck, keep us updated!

well i certainly understand that, i simply could never justify spending all that money to put just a b16a in my car and then leave it mated to an auto transmission. those engines were only quick when mated to the matching b16a tranny. now might be one of those times when it would pay to learn how to change the car to manual, and swap the engine in yourself. you could easily get a gsr and put it in yourself for a lot less than $3,500.
