GC's with Skunk2 struts. Question.
The suspension that I have on my car currently is crap. Previous owner cut the springs, now resulting in blown struts. So yes you can say I'm just a bit bouncy. I will be ordering my GC's soon, not to sure on the spring rate. I will be going pretty low about 3in or so. Yes I know I'll have a rough ride but that's whatever pretty smooth roads where I live.
Questions;
What spring rate should I order for my GC's?
Will the Skunk2 struts be a good combo with GC's?
How long should I wait for a proper alignment to fix the toe? (I know, no camber kit is needed to fix uneven tire wear, it's mainly in the toe specs
)
Thanks for the help and answers.

Im guessing that you asking these questions for the EF in your sig. For 3" drop around 450lb front and rear springs would be good. The Skunk2 shocks would be way better than oem or oem replacements. I would have it aligned asap.
I wanna be able to cruise around and burn gas while being able to take some corners pretty hard and fast(nothing to where I'm going to hurt/kill someone)
well +50-100lbs both ends since you want to hit a couple corners moderately. if you know people with different spring rates get a ride with them. that will be a vague overview. also everyone has a different "comfort" level. the rates im giving you are pretty much on the low/fair end.
I personally can't stand soft rides, i like rigid rides. Not so rough to where I'll have to wear a kidney belt but rough enough to feel the bumps in roads and what not.
Also, I called GC and I told them what struts I want to run, and he said he didn't know if Skunk2 struts will be compatible with the sleeves. Is this true or not? Because Koni's are wayyyy out of my budget. I'm getting a steal on these skunk2 struts that's why I'm adimant on getting those.

I think as long as you bought the sleeve that fits oem struts you should be fine. The skunk2 is ment to me an oem replacement so I would guess thats the sleeve you would want to use.
I'm just going to run the Skunk2 sleeves and struts. I've been getting a few PM's that I won't like the ride with the GC and Skunk2 to strut combo.
Any of you guys have experience with the full skunk2 combo??

Forget about the Skunk2 setup as well as with the GC's, Andy from AMR Engineering and I had about a 30min phone conversation about what would be in my price range and what to look out for.
He recommended me the Function&Form Type-I Coilover, since it's in my price range and all that good stuff.

Just a heads up, someone offered like 580 shipped to someone selling F&F type 1 one ebay and they took it. I forget who it was, but im sure you can get someone to match that.
