I have an EG and when i park i get out and hear a popping noise from the rear of the car and it almost sounds like the e-brake cable stretching. Is that possible?? Plus is there anything else that could do that?? THANKS..

 

Is the car on a grade and moving slightly on each pop. It could be that the brake is barely holding the car.

 

nah i was parked in gravel when i first noticed it. then i started pushing it back (with e-brake up) it cut down the popping alot.

are you lowered? and are all the bolts tight on your suspension ie: tie bars, lca, etc?
