I am in the market for a set of racing seats for my 90 civic si, and my question is, are there usually a spot to mount the stock seat belt buckles on the side?

 

THE BELT PART OR THE BUCKEL PART WITH THE BUTTON?

THE BUCKEL PART WITH THE BUTTON MOUNTS TO THE FLOOR SO YOU CAN STILL USE IT. AS WELL AS THE BELT PART WHICH EITHER MOUNTS TO THE DOOR OR THE PILLAR. DOES THIS HELP?

...and no, there isn't a mounting spot on the seat, but there may be one on the seatrails...

WHICH IS WHERE THEY'RE LOCATED, NOT THE FLOOR

 

I'm talking about the part with the button, and in my car its mounted to the side of the seat with a bolt, and i dont see a spot where it could mount to the floor.

 

so i should be able to use the stock seat rails?

 

for your infomation i wasnt yelling at him, just had cap locks on by mistak lol and to correct you if we are talking about the same thing, yes they are mounted to the floor

 

thanks for the pic, i just went out to the garage and my buckles are mounted to the seat rails, and i dont have a spot to mount them on the floor on the drivers side, but there is one on the passenger side which is weird

 

hmm weird both of mine are bolted to the floor. but hey who knows.....lol
