Alright i got a set of 2000 Civic Si Coupe Seats for my 98 EK Hatch. The Fronts went in with no problem, but the back seats only the bottom went in fine but the backrest part wont fit in because of a bracket in the middle. Now I was wondering if there was any way that these coupe rear seats can acutally fit in my hatch....Please let me know if they do if i cut that bracket out

what do you mean exactly?

 

I think he might mean cutting the clips holding the fabric and padding on the back sections of the rear seat and putting it on the metal frames on the seat backs in your car already. This has to be done with the ITR seats into 6th gens. I have no experience with this, it's just what I think he may be suggesting.

 

^ correct. u just snip the clips, swap the inners and redo them using zip ties.

 

Alright so just take the whole cushion part of the seats off the Si frame,then just slip those over the stock ones in my car now?

Alright thanks i will get to that this weekend and see if i cant figure it out. I Measured them up and they should fit its just not working cuz the Frame but i will measure up and take pics for my referance

alright i will probably be another 2-3 weeks before i do that once i get my license back then i can have my car home and work on it im sure its not Hard
