Here are some pics I took at the Tintmasters Perfect 10 Car Show in Fargo. One is a Canadian R and the other is owned by the owner of Tintmasters (it has around 18,000 miles on it). Neither of them really suit my taste, but it was cool to have some Rs in the area.

I bet the turbo K is fast. It looks like it was a recovery of some type. Nothing on the body lines up correctly. Rear bumper is out. Side skirts are out. Front bumper is out.

 

are there no type R's in fargo/Grand forks area? there are tons in winnipeg and in manitoba

 

Agreed. When I got close up near the side skirts and bumpers you could really tell. Anyways, I'm sure it's fast as hell.

 

The only one I know of is the one I posted with the custom paint, in Fargo that is. I'm not sure about Grand Forks, but I haven't heard of any.

 

I'm also not a fan of the fenders? WTF does it have fenders for anyway?

Fender flares are fugly IMO. Colorful engine bay...I bet it hauls (if it drives )!

 

It was parked in front of the mall I work at earlier today with all the other Canadian cars. I believe all of them except one CRX was actually driven down from Canada.

 

Who makes that timing belt tensioner?

 

Damn there are some pretty nice cars up in Fargo. Im visitin up here from Colorado and possibly might move up here, looks like there is a pretty good car scene up here. I wish I woulda known about this so I coulda stopped by lol

 

Yeah the show wasn't bad at all. But as always, Canada came in and owned face on everything Fargo had Honda wise. Nearly everything they had was five lug swapped and k powered. Everything was pretty damn clean too. The one dudes main car broke down, so he brought his daily (white eg). Even that was better than most of what Fargo had to offer. Unfortunately the car scene here is pretty stale. Not a whole lot of real serious builders and a TON of rice. Don't get me wrong, there are some sick rides around here for sure. But unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a very decent cohesive scene here. The total garbage rice completely outweighs the real tuners and enthusiasts unfortunately.

 

Damn that sucks that the ricer are out numbering the town like that. Maybe ill have to move up here and start to help get the real enthusiasts goin. Are there any K swaps up here? I think I've seen a thread with 1 teal EG hatch with a K20a2 swap from Fargo but im not sure lol. The only think I dont think I could handle are the harsh winters

 

The teal hatch was from Grand Forks. I have heard of one K series build going on in Fargo. You can check it out here: http://www.fargostreet.com/forums/sh...ighlight=build. Other than that, I don't know of any other K swapped cars in Fargo.

 

that's my k20 crx. the white itr up there is owned by a friend of mine who is also a part of my crew Garage106. it has never been in an accident but if the panels don't line up, must be the body shop's doing.

he also has the fender flares on there because he has a set of 17x8 Mugen MF10's which are currently getting gold dipped but unfortunately not in time for the show.
