DOHC ZC OBD1 Conversion?
So, I am rebuilding a ZC right now... I was wondering if anyone has ever converted it to OBD1. Would this be worth it at all? Making it run smoother etc. I could source the parts from a newer D16, like the dizzy and O2 sensor, but what ECU would I use?
you would need the OBD1 DOHC ZC distributor, TD43U
unless you are going to boost the engine, converting to OBD1 has no advantage over OBD0 - it will run the same

^from my experience, the ls dizzy does not fit.
i'm using a 92-95 civic dx/lx distributor. you would really have to hack the **** out of it to get the timing "right".
for the ecu, get a p06 or another other obd1 ecu and get it chipped. ask them to load p29 obd1 dohc zc maps.
ill see if i could get a picture of my civic distributor for all your DOHC ZC people, since there are none on here.
