i wana know if a non power steering rack will fit on my hatch instead of the **** power steering one.

you might need to swap the whole crossmember. check the brackets that hold the steering rack on. I've heard the PS ones are bigger.

The power steering ones are bigger but you don't have to swap the whole crossmember. I am using a non power steering rack off a std hatch on my lx sedan which came with power steering. I used some pieces of rubber i had around the house to take up the difference, been working fine for over 2 years now. Once you put your hands on it you will see what i mean, and also see its not a major issue.
