Default Changing Wheel Studs on Accords

Its getting kinda expensive having shops change broken or stripped wheel studs on my 92 Accord EX (4th Gen) every so often.
So I have finally decided to try to change them on my own. Ive read up on my Hayes manuel but I would like some real world experience with changing out wheel studs.

Is there any tips or tricks?.

Thanks in advance

Thanks

i personally think its too much of a bitch to attemp myself. you need a slide hammer to pound the rotor/hub off, then a hydrolic press to get everything back together...

bitched joe out yet?

No press needed.
If everything isn't rusted and/or seized it's not such a bad job to remove the hubs and get them back on. Rears are real easy, the fronts slide on far enough if you clean parts real well so you can sink enough threads of the axle nut on to seat the hub fully into the front wheel bearing.
ARP or Skunk2 studs should be tougher and less prone to breaking.

you do awn a tourqe wrench, right? Use that and some anti-seize, and your problems should be over.

anti-seize on the studs?

ludehrt had a bad experience w/ the ARP studs this past weekend, he wants to go back to stock.

Hell yes, I thought it was a bad idea at first, but have had no lug nuts loosen on me. I put on the first coat in june I think and its almost time to reapply. Yes I change my wheels A LOT.
