I just picked up a mint set of black leather gsr seats. . . can you just swap the seat pan or how am I going to have to go about doing this?? The seats are going to go in one way or another even if I have to weld them in . . . I dont wanna do that though. . . And I dont wanna drill and thread new holes. . . any ideas?

 

bolt your stock sliders into the floor of your car.sit the new seats on top and measure how far they are apart.just make brackets thatll bolt into the bottom on the seat pan and weld them onto the sliders.

personally those seats made me sit high in my crx

 

you know man I was wondering about that , I was looking at them and thought they might make me sit high . . . oh well though I always liked gsr leathers

 

dunno about why your seats sit high, but mine made me sit LOWER... feels like a bucket seat. I LUV IT! :D

 

I had a set in my crx, they sat lower. no welding, just mix and match parts from the two seats.

 

Dunno wth you are talking about, as there is NO mixing and matching of any parts besides the seat pan, back rest being swapped. UNLESS you are like me and retain the lumbar support, THEN and ONLY then is any welding required.

yeah but you have a sedan personally i love gsr cloth seats they feel like butter but my head was on the ceiling so i have to rock my blue dx seats looks funky with si interior

 

well guys I just got done putting the seats in. . . I bent the one bracket on the gsr seat used grade8 bolts and drilled threw the floor and used a nut under the car . . . also made custom spacers. . .turned out VERY VERY GOOD. . . I will post pictures here later this evening. .. thanks for all the advice.
