well the car jumped time. and we fixed it. and now it tried to turn over, but wont. we cant think of anything other than fuel pump? car is straight wired push button. it sucks. but its what i got.

need some help asap please.

 

if the starter won't even turn over, your looking at starter, battery or wiring to start with worst case engine is seized but dout it (use a nineteen and turn the crank you will be able to figure that one out). If it won't fire check your compression, fuel, double check with the timing. Make sure when it jumped timing it didn't clack the valves. really with the lack of information you give I would take it to a shop.

 

okay its turning over like its about to cut all the way on. then it dies.
it started raining so we put it on hold no more info.
its getting spark. and fuel. to my knowledge(the fuel) just wont crank all the way to life. any ideas?

 

try to check the spark i mean the rotor and cap spark plugs and wires if u still have problems then try to shot carb cleener into the intake after that if it still wont run then the valves are bent sorry&

 

I think I get what you mean, like it fires on a couple cylinders but wont fully fire enough to keep rotation going with out starter, Check timing and ignition timing. easiest possible at this point. Make sure your spark is hot not too week. and that you have good fuel pressue, not that you just have fuel or spark make sure the engine has enough. Run a compression check this will be the easiest way to tell you if you have a serious problem on your hands. (also migh want to run through your electrical two if everything els looks good, but I am guessing from info/or lack of you will find a severe compression problem) this is the case buy a new motor/or a z6 head and find a good shop!

 

if its something to serious. a b20 will be in it within a week or two.

I agree, If you have it just doen't even give yourself the headache of trying to figure this out. Just swap it, ohh might I suggest GSR head on that!

 

i dont have it as of now. but if i cant get this to work ill scrap the money to make it happen thats why i need this fixed first. it is my daily driver.

in my opinion it can be but just remember that if o downsize its not good another question are u going to put the same components from the other engien its definetly will never be good unless u chek every one out thuroly sorry about my spelling
