89 CRX Si Brake Calipers....OMFG.
A few days ago i was driving my car and my brakes locked up. If i could describe it to you it would be like riding a bike in first gear while holding both brake levers down. They'd seize up on me and if i sat for around 30 minutes on the side of the road they'd free up and last a few miles before locking up again. Could the pistons be stuck?
Anyways, i'm thinking it's my calipers. It's not just one, they're both locked up. When i think about this the question dawns on me why did both of them lock at the same time? Is it a failure somewhere else in the system? I find it hard to believe that they'd both fail at exactly the same time. People say it's my booster, master cylinder, brake lines, and of course calipers. But i'd like to know from someone who's had this same problem and knows exactly how to fix it.
Thanks HT.

Sounds like something other than the calipers.
Ive experienced a frozen caliper but it wasnt that bad(i could still drive).
it was however, dragging a noticable amount.

theres whats called a "balancer" in the ms that controls pressure to the front/rear wheels. its soposed to send more pressure to the front than the rear. it sounds like it messed up/possably got moisture or air bubbles in it and caused them to lock up. if it was mine i would replace the ms. or try bleeding it by cracking the lines on it just like tou would bleed at the calipers.
