My Turbo B16 91 CRX (56k warning)
So here it goes
I bought my crx last year with the intensions of building it. when i bought her she had a jdm sirII b16 with a treadstone turbo kit on her. It was fun while it lasted. I have had way to many problems with her first my radiator blew then i got a flat and while my tires were on order she got broken into. Then the big doosey. I was riding around with my buddy when my oil pump fried 8000 rpm no oil it dident last long i broke a rod off and threw it through the block. so over the last 8-9 months i have been collecting parts to rebuild her. I live by the rule "Go big or go home" and for an e-3 in the navy i think i made some good choices.

my old exhaust was way too small so i made a 3" stright pipe for her (gota love no emissions)oh and they are my old tags the cars not even in fl any more
get rid of that CTR crank pulley, get yourself a nice fluidampr harmonic balancer if you want to keep your oil pump from quitting on you again
other than that...sweet build bro...oh and get rid of the ricer crap, ruins a beautiful CR-X

Thats my sister i had her help me with some stuff hoping she will get into cars like i am. And as far as the bodykit goes its a love hate thing i kinda like it buti like the oem look and dont have the money to replace everything if u know what i mean.
Dont listen to the bandwagon retards telling you what it should look like. The only thing I would change personally is the tails. BUT you are boosted, so laugh at the ****ers telling you what it should look like while you pull on em....
good luck man, everything looks like it's going well. just because the car doesn't look like a jdm wet dream doesn't mean it's rice. fools... i'd like to do the same over the winter with my b16. keep us posted with results.
I had a feeling that i would get some remarks about my bodykik/roof/stuff but its ok caus i like her the way she is. I did have a question for HT. im looking for a picture of a wiring harness with all sensor plugs labeled for me. ive tried searching and cant seem to find one. im also looking for a good tuner in/around norfolk va if ne1 knows one let me know. also wondering if anyone has a b16/hx35 dyno chart handy. im looking to make like 450-500 wheel hp with this beast on pump gas but i think i will need bigger injectors/fuel pump/lines and about 100 psi to do it. let me know what you all think.
it is rice, but if you don't have money, what are you gonna do.the inside is the best. SICK BUILD
Thanks for the comments. Im gona change the crank pully to an ati or fluidamper as soon as i can. Any more ideas Are apreciated keep em coming guys.
car and build look good! only other thing i can see is your custom ramhorn manifold looks like a cheap ebay special. two things will most likely happen, first the weight of the hx35 will crack that mani over time. second i think that it will boost creep on you majorly. the ramhorn with a 38mm gate and the big hotside of the holset make for a bad creeping combo.
see that you have a holset on ur lsv what kind of holset r u running and what kind of spool r u getting on it. I was thinking that ive only got a 1.7 to run a 50 shot direct port kit on her as well as the hx35. What do you all think.
i'm running a hx35(14cm housing) i get positive pressure at 4k rpm or so then full boost is shortly after as i'm only running 12lbs. your combo will probably spool a tad later than that but it shouldn't be too bad as you should be able to rev a higher.
i ran into issues with my setup and a 38mm gate, mind you it was a topmount but with a big exhaust housing, low boost and a small gate you have a recipe for boost creep. the 90 degree turn the exhaust has to make doesn't help either.

Im running a 12cm^2 hotside so that will help a little. As far as exhaust its a 3 in straight pipe with no cat or mufler and as far as the 90 im gona get a full race mani and dp so ill be good.
