Default Hood Vents?

I was thinking about getting a evo style hood and I was just thinking how the vents on it work, like is it ok for rain to get inside or are they made to keep the rain out still?
Just something I was thinking about so I thought I would ask.

its ok for water to get into the motor BUT not into the air filter what so ever unless you wanna blow a baseball size whole on your block lol. and also, you can rise your hood up from the hinge points. that would give your motor more ventilation.

it keeps under hood temps down a little bit. helps the motor clear the hood for some motor configuration.

Friend just told me it started in Cali. Makes sense I guess.

Either there or Japan.

Apparently he read some magazine article where they actually tested it out to see if it did anything. They showed that it lowered underhood temps on a stock miata or something like 7-10 degrees.

Still not worth it IMO.

hood prop? not hood vents....

My B series in my cx barely clears the hood, it rubs it when its closed. My reason for a prop.

my boy got a H2B swap in his ek coupe and he doesn't have to prop it. is there a required chassis or something like maybe you got to do it on a eg?

With the QSD h2b kit the only chasis you dont have to do that is the 96-00 civics. With the Evo h2b kit none of them need to be spaced
