well im 16 and finished my 94 civic eg project but becuas ei tis extreely fast and i have over 6 tickets 2 over 100 ineed to get rid of it (NOT MY CHOICE) and get something newer and slower,,


sooo i put it up for trade and got offered a 2002 k0a3 civic si that scomes with another k20a3 motor etc,

is the k20a3 stocm otor that comes with the car ? his mids are they good or bad for this car ? what is some of the must thing to do ??

just sell complete motor and turbo the k20 in the hatch, since you got money to spend on a d-series at the age of 16, k20 turbo it

 

dude, the ep3 is gonna get you in more trouble, that things prob faster and handles better. like ma man said,, sounds like you need a new chofer.

as for the trade, damn skippy you should go for it.

its no that were being ugly, its that the tickets arent the cars fault. you can drive a gremlin fast enough and get a bunch of tickets. as for the ep3, the only thing i can find on it is transmission problems, grinding, notchy. but if it was replaced it should be fine, and thats on some ep's, most should be fine and honda reliable. never driven one but i rest my arm on the shifter while driving, might not be able to with the ep but its gonna be faster to shift when in performance situation FTW.

MAKE SURE TO TEST DRIVE IT FIRST AND LISTEN TO TRANS.

 

The main issues with Ep's are third gear pop out and the steering rack creak.Other than that they are reliable and I would definetely recomend them.

I would trade man that's sounds like a good deal but at the same time test drive test drive the car b\c sometimes the deal can be to good to be true just make sure that there is no fram damge on the car and ask if its a clean title

if you do decide to go with the ep join the ep3 squad! im 16 also, although i've only driven a a stock eg, my stock ep3 is just a blast to drive!

 

I wish I could get excited by driving an ep3... If the trade falls through try for an em1 instead.

 

Either way you decide, just make sure you do it for yourself. Otherwise you will regret the decision in the end.
