hondata s300 on p72 ecu or p28???
ok rite now i got a jdm gsr motor w/ bolt ons and im about to get it tuned on e85. i live in th emidwest so we have these all over lol.well heres my question..i was wonderin if i should jus buy the hondata s300 and run it on my p72 ecu or should i buy it with the p28 ecu. and sell my p72 on the streets.... i did some research and i read that i should buy the p28 and run that cuz if i would of run my p72 it would read the dual butterflys in the intake mani and would throw a check engine light and the stock p72 ecu is looking for the IABs (btw i switch the mani to edelbrock performer x so i would delelte the dual butterflys) i hope im sayin this rite lol but then i did more resaech and they said that its always better to run the stock ecu to make it run 100% or somethin lol... i dunno if anybody that has more knowledge then me help me out here.... thanks

The p72 ecu does not care if you have the dual butterfly system in place or not.
The only difference between the p72 and the p28 would be the native dual butterfly support & knock sensor support (useless).
