Well I guess it could have been worse. They didnt take my digi camcorder, cd's, helmet, tools, or the car. But they busted out the rear window, and stole my cd player . ****! All this after staying at some girls house, not having sex, and five hours of sleep. What a beautiful fuggin morning, time to go to work

 

no, but ive had my car broken into the same way...turned out to be real expensive, like $400+ to do. fortunately, insurance covered it and the cops actually recovered most of the stolen goods

 

are you sure man...$400 seems way too much that's like a windsheild. I would think a good shop can do it for less than $150.

 

you may think the window will be expensive to replace, what ever the price is, but three months from now this is the part that hurts worse... ouch dude. hehe.

 

I called a local junk yard, replacement glass is $65, not tooo bad. Hopefully I can do the work.

 

well they were probably ripping me off but i didnt care because it was covered by insurance. as long as they did a good job.

Probably not even worth it to file a claim.

 

I had a pioneer premier head, 4-5 yrs old, cost ~299. the deductable is 300 so . I dont want to pay more insurance, and I will probably get something a little cheaper this time.

 

why would they break that window when they can break your front one? How did they reach in to open the doors? The lock and handle is all the way on the front part of the door...unless you had your cd player sitting in the back seat?
