So I'm gonna buy a p28 with s300 chip....after removing upper cover, what am I looking for...will the s300 chi have any markings letters? How do I noe if its an s300 chip...any body have any pics of it? Thanks

 

The s300 system isn't a chip. It is a complete board that sits in the ecu.

So I should be looking for a board sitting over the ecu like that? But how am I gonna know that its an s300 system? And not some other engine management system?

Now how do I noe whether its s100 or s300?

 

The s100 looks nothing like what's pictured above, which is an s300. It also doesn't have a USB plug on it... Also, there's pictures of both of these units online.
