If you look in this picture of the JDM spoiler, there is a small cutout in it. I looked on my HB under the wing and there is a small raised section there. What was it for? Does anybody have any pics of the rear of a JDM HB?? Thanks for the help guys.

 

That hole is for a rear wiper.

the EF's on JDM and USDM had the wiper on the middle of the hatch not the top
i really dont think thats a SiR spoiler... probably its a JDM aftermarket wing..... but i relal y cant see why its that hole there,,,

Well then riddle me this:

Why is there a raised bump under the wing on the trunklid of the civic HB's? It looks like something was mounted there, and I would like to find out what it is.

 

why not get a pic f thid Mystery bump? then we can tell you exactly what it is. my guess would probably be a squirter for the window washer fluid.

You can see the bump best in the 4th pic.

 

Also, if you look real close on the third pic, you can see a slight raise on the underside of the wing also.

 

as it looks as you don't have a rear wiper it looks like thats where the lil squirter would have been if you had one.

 

but why does a windshield squirter need a big raised bump like that? Come on you JDM ******, who knows the real answer??

Seriously!!! That's where the squirter is supposed to be. Who cares why? That's how and where Honda decided to put it. So they did and that's how it came out. I am pretty sure that they didn't a special hatch that doesn't have the mounting place for the squirter.

thats a crx wing not a HB wing duhh and the bump is there for a reason honda engineers put it there and here rear of a jdm ef9

has nothing to do with JDM. honda wanted it like that. maybe it's t clear the actual nozzle under the hatch. maybe it needs a raised bump so it feels as important as the front ones. it's just a bump, no big deal.
