hood wont close helpp

so i popped my hood today and went to close it, and now it doesnt want to lock. . i had the hood off yesterday but it closed fine when i put it back on whats the problem??

i drive a 95 coupe

Probably shifted from it's original spot. Look closely at the latch as you close it and see where it wants to be. Get your wrench out and adjust accordingly.

the hood goes right in perfect but just doesnt lock.. the latch is how its always been.. i just had my hood open yesterday too. anyone?

if your Hood align perfect with fenders/headlights.. Just adjust your latch like Fungus stated!

My hood also wont close after I pop it. The problem is the cable, its like stretched. What I do is push down on the hood latch cable and then the hood closes.
