H-T H22 rpm problem please help

Default H-T H22 rpm problem please help

i have a 94 accord with a h swap im having a problem with the rpm tack its only reading up to 6,500... i have a chipted ecu at 8,000 rpm.. what could be helding it back??? thanks

are you using a p13 ecu? is your vtec engaging at all?

im not sure what ECU it is i think a converted P13,got from phearble.net and ya it pops at 4k

i would get a regular usdm/jdm p13 and go from there. thats real low for it to be engaging btw.

are all your ground good? oil good?

Either get a new one or remove the cluster and re-calibrate the rpm tech.

does the motor feel like it's pulling after 6500 or is that now it's redline ? My vote is for you to get the USDM virgin P13 ECU and see if that changes anything.

Why did you want a lower engagement of VTEC ? - your car did not even hit the dyno for a tune so that low of engagement screws everything up.

Ya it's going past 6,500 cuz when I race my friend with same thing as I do we sift at same time and his car says 8,000 rpm
