Default what is used to strip paint from stock side skirts???

ok when my car was painted the stupid guy just painted over my stock side skirts. i want to leave it black the way it is but now it's white. what can i used to strip the paint off of it? am i gonna have to sand it or anything like that cuz i dont really want to do that cuz it would ruin the side skirts as it would not have that stock black finish to it anymore. just need to remove the paint thats all.

Then what was the stock color?

Most of the time, they're flat black plastic without any paint on it.

I would sand it smooth, not all the way down to the plastic, removing any paint that didn't adhere correctly and fill as needed, then finish with "trim paint".
