Hey I gotta 1992 Hatch with a b18b1 in it. I has a weird tick in the bottom end when you start the engine on a cold start. It quits when the engine runs for about a minute or so. But it only does it on cold start that's it. Also on cold start the oil pressure light stays on for three seconds after the engine is started. you think I gotta bad bearing, or a oil pump going out? The engine is full of oil, just changed the oil like a month ago or so.

 

maybe the oil pick up is going out...the engine might be starving just a lil bit..

 

lower end is worn, or oil pump is going out, either way rebearing, check for wear on the crank especially on the rod journals seeing they see oil last, replace the pump while you are there. usually you get bearing wear, which directly effects your oil pressure, but pumps go too
