ROFL the front conversion can be had for less than that. Looks like someone trying to turn a quick buck because some don't read stuff fully.

Sweet Raptor Jesus, where the hell are you pricing these parts? I've seen bumper and tails for less than 800.

I just realized, just so ya know, some parts are cheaper to source from Canada. Last I priced out the entire conversion, I was going to pay around 4k painted. Just dig really hard and you will find better deals.

Just start seeing what FD2 parts are cheaper from Canada. The Acura CSX is a FD2, check it out. I don't recall all the places I pulled up prices from but I know some have sourced conversions as cheap as $3,500, skipping a couple parts that is.

Wrong forum to be posting this in my opinion, but since it's your buddy I can sympathize.

NOTICE THAT THE TAIL LIGHTS ARE THE NEWEST 2009 TYPE R OCTAGONALS, THESE ARE MUCH BETTER THAN THE OLDER ROUND TAIL LIGHTS

I like how the seller represents opinion as fact, lol!

THESE ARE NOT THE BASE MODEL CIVIC OCTAGONALS, BUT THE TYPE R THEY ARE DIFFERENT

I like how the seller says the tail lights are different but doesn't let the buyer know what makes them different.

All the parts that Streetlightz sells are not 100% genuine Honda parts. When I went to order my front end conversion more than a year ago the bumper and hood were after market replicas. Perhaps they are selling geuine parts now. I was also informed by the person who sold them their parts at that time that the conversion parts were actually FD1 components.

No it isn't, not by a long shot, pal. If you want to back up your claim you had better start posting pics of VIN's. The FD2 front end is a hair wider than the CSX and the hood has a different shape. The FD2 and the CSX may share the same styling cues, but they are not the same nor do they have the same chassis codes. If I am not mistaken it's an FD5.

Honda likes busting out the hard edges for model refreshments.

Nasif, I have to say that your Si is the absolutely best looking one I have ever seen. Your mods speak well for your car. That conversion kit you showed makes me want to do this so bad. Thanks for the link!

You're kidding...right?

The octagonal ones like they are 90's video game badly pixelated versions of the older round tails. Awful. Shouldn't redesigns look better than the original? Honda?!

That is how much they cost. This is why only those who are serious about the conversion actually do it.

What makes them expensive is the sea freight, truck freight, they are over sized, the weight of the hood, customs duty and if you get them from Canada most clowns charge your *** GST and PST too.
