Help B18C swap in 2000 Hatch
I have a 2000 civic hatch that someone did a motor swap to a B18C. They used a OBD2 engine harness with a P2T ECU. The car ran but had engine codes just didnt run well. I then bought a P72 and a engine harness that i was told was for a B18C motor. The harness connects to the engine but it does not match up with ECU(P72). So I went back the harness that was in the car at first. I then bought a OBD2 to OBD1 jumper so i could use the P72. The car runs but i lost my VTEC and Im getting and engine code of 23 but there is no engine code 23 for a B18C that i have found. So i disconnected the jumper and the P72 and connected the P2T ECU and now I have VTEC and again i have a check engine light. Can anyone give me alittle help? Also is there a way to connect the B18C engine harness to the car, is there a jumper of some sort? Any help will be greatly apperciated. Thanks Rob

I am looking to do a B18c swap and I was having some concern about it being wired up. I believe it comes with the JDM ECU and what not too from Hmotors. I heard something about there being wires not used like a vtec pressure switch for JDM but USDM does have it or something and you will get a CEL? I hope i'm not going to be making a hassle going JDM. I thought it was pretty much plug and play.
