too hot or too lean. try a step 7 and see what you get. check it after 500 miles for how it's looking. bkr7eix-11 is looking great in my stock R engine. give those a shot.

I know everyone loves to modify, but why change the heat range on a stock engine? Pretty sure Honda's done their research on this one.

around 40,000kms.. the book says they are good for 168,000kms.. i guess not

I agree, Iv had trouble deciding wether to change the heat range. but in the end I just went to the delearship and ordered stock NGK's =S

no one is suggesting you do. i listed the exact part number that comes up from ngk on a stock itr. you didn't bother to check that did you? the dealer sells basically the same plug for twice the price
